
Foundation for Professional Governance is registered as a society (applied for) to carry out socially relevant activities to benefit the citizens of India and strive for the betterment of their lives through various charitable means.
SPIT FREE INDIA is a campaign aimed at increasing awareness about the prevalent problem of spitting in India. The objective is to induce people to raise their voice against this social problem and enhance administrative measures to stop the people from spitting in public.
The campaign will run Pan-India across state capitals, Tier I and Tier II cities. Planned in five phases the campaign will target people from all sections of the society.

•TB Bacilli can survive in spit for an entire day
•Tuberculosis kills over 200,000 Indian every year
•Indian Railways spends about Rs. 1.5 crores every year in cleaning and scrubbing the spit marks
•There is a law against spitting in public places, but it is hardly implemented
